Ever since you were a kid you've wanted to try it. Or maybe you're not sure? Discover Scuba is for you. It's safe, fun and easy - a chance to try diving in a controlled, enjoyable session. It only takes an hour and is conducted in the safe confines of a swimming pool under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor.
You will watch a short introductory video, fill in a medical questionnaire to say you are fit and healthy and then have your first dive in the safety of the swimming pool. It's sure to dispel any myths you may have about diving too. The real underwater world is not a dark, cold, alien environment but a place of tranquillity and breathtaking beauty. The first pool dive is just the start of your adventures.
Once you've tried it, the chances are you'll want to do a course and get qualified. Learning to dive has no boundaries. The only prerequisites for the basic Open Water PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) qualification are that you are over 10, in reasonably good health and can swim a few lengths of the pool.
So go on, take the plunge. One dive and you'll be hooked.
